Protein (function)

Phenotype
The phenotype has not been analysed in detail. The mutant shows a normal blood stage development and causes experimental cerebral complications in C57Bl6 mice. The mutant can be transmitted by mosquitoes, showing wild type production of oocysts, sporozoites and prepatent period after mosquito bite. The mutant can be obtained from the Leiden Malaria Research Group.
