Additional remarks genetic modificationThe protein was detected in a proteome analysis of P. falciparum oocysts and sporozoites and was present in oocyst-derived sporozoites and not in salivary gland sporozoites. It contains a signal peptide, a transmembrane region and a PEXEL motif.
